As a mother of four, I’ve always believed that food brings people together. Growing up in a Moroccan household in Israel, where the essence of our home was always food, I learned early on that cooking is more than just preparing meals; it’s about creating connections.
My incredible mother is a gifted cook, and my paternal grandmother was also a master in the kitchen. I even have fond memories of my grandfather cooking. In our home, anyone who entered was immediately welcomed with food – it often felt like my mother was performing magic in the kitchen. Those early experiences shaped me, and today, they are a huge part of who I am.
For us, food wasn’t just sustenance; it was a way of expressing love. My mother, aunts, and grandmothers spoke through their dishes, filling our home with a vibrant variety of flavors and traditions.
In 2005 we made Cincinnati our home, and it has become a wonderful place to raise our family and grow our business. While my passion for cooking was nurtured in the home I grew up in, I discovered here that my culinary style stands out, offering a unique blend of flavors that people have come to appreciate.
For me, food is love, and feeding others is my love language. There is no greater joy than creating memorable meals for others. Hosting and catering events fills me with a sense of purpose and fulfillment that’s difficult to put into words.
